Huskies Head To Desert For Pac-10 Tune Up

TEMPE, Ariz. - The Husky women's golf team travels down to Tempe, Ariz. for the PING/ASU Invitational, the last tune up before the Pac-10 Championships start on April 19.
The tournament will be held at the par 72, 6,230-yard ASU Karsten Golf Course. The tournament will run April 9-11 with tee-times beginning on the first and 10th holes beginning at 8 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and 7:30 a.m. on Sunday. Live results will be available through Golf Stat.
Washington is ranked 35th by Golfweek.com and 36th by Golf Stat in the latest polls. Anya Alvarez is ranked 66th individually by Golfweek.com, while teammate Karinn Dickinson is 98th. Head coach Mary Lou Mulflur will bring a lineup down to Arizona that includes Molly Aronsson at No. 1, followed by Sadena Parks, Alvarez, Dickinson and Darcie Richmond. Dickinson suffered a bruised tibia two weeks ago when she was crushed in between two golf carts but is ready to go this weekend.
The field will be headlined by host Arizona State, who is the defending National Champions and Golfweek.com's current top-ranked team. Eleven of the nation's top 25 teams will be competing for the team trophy.
