CORVALLIS, Ore. - Rob Rasmussen (5-0) struck out eight hitters and did not issue any walks through seven innings to lead the No. 3 UCLA baseball team past No. 17 Oregon State, 8-2, in the rubber game of a Pac-10 series Sunday afternoon before 2,068 at Goss Stadium. [Read more] 

Cal Baseball Sweeps USC with 4-3 Win 
The California baseball team (20-10, 6-3) won its eighth straight game and completed its second straight Pac-10 sweep as the Golden Bears defeated USC, 4-3, Sunday, April 11 at Dedeaux Field. Led by solid start from sophomore right-hander Dixon Anderson and exceptional relief pitching from sophomore Matt Flemer, Cal swept the Trojans (15-17, 2-7) for the first time in Los Angeles since the Pac-10 went to a three-game format in 1972.
