Cal 11th Heading into Tuesday's Final Day of U.S. Intercollegiate

STANFORD - Cal heads into the final day of action Tuesday at the U.S. Intercollegiate in 11th place after getting in 36 holes of action broken up over two days due to rain on Sunday and Monday. The Golden Bears completed the first round that was suspended Sunday before completion and then the day's regularly scheduled round on Monday with a 25-over par team score of 585 (298-287).
Eric Mina, who fired a two-under par 68 in the second round after opening with a five-over round of 75, is Cal's top golfer after two rounds of action at three-over par overall.
Washington (281-281 - 562) and San Diego State (287-275 - 562) are tied for the team lead at two-over par after 36 holes. Oregon (286-277 - 563) is just one shot back at three-over, while USC (288-276 - 564) and UCLA (283-283 - 566) are also within close striking range at four and six-over respectively.
The final 18 holes of the tournament being hosted by Stanford at the Stanford Golf Course are scheduled to be played on Tuesday, beginning with an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start.
