Cougars Get Weekend Off Entering Final Week of Spring Practice

PULLMAN, Wash. - The Washington State University football team will spend the weekend away from the field as it prepares for the final week of spring practice.

The Cougars have four practices remaining and will get back to the field with a Monday (Apr. 19) morning practice. WSU will also hold practices Tuesday and Thursday before concluding spring practice Saturday (Apr. 24) with the Spring Game.

The Spring Game will be televised live by SWX and begin at 5:30 p.m. Admission is free and is part of Butch's Spring Bash, which begins at 10 a.m. as Track & Field hosts the Cougar Invitational at Mooberry Track. From noon - 2 p.m. Hollingbery Fieldhouse will be the site of a Cougar Tailgate Party followed by Cougar baseball against Oregon State at 2 p.m. at Bailey-Brayton Field.

The football team will be signing the 2010 Cougar football schedule posters from 2-3 p.m. The day conclused with the Spring Football Game at Martin Stadium at 5:30 p.m.
