No. 19 Cal Baseball Defeats Washington, 3-2
BERKELEY -  Behind a masterful pitching performance from freshman left-hander Justin Jones and some stellar offensive and defensive production from sophomore left fielder Danny Oh, the Cal baseball team defeated Washington, 3-2, Saturday (April 17) afternoon at Evans Diamond. The No. 19-ranked Golden Bears (21-11, 7-4) evened their series 1-1 versus the Huskies (19-14, 4-4) going into Sunday's rubber match. Washington had topped Cal, 7-3, Friday. [Read more]

Merrill Kelly Improves To 8-0 As #1 ASU Defeats USC 5-3
TEMPE, Ariz. -
The No. 1 Arizona State University baseball team defeated USC 5-3 on Saturday in front of a sellout crowd of 4,371 at Winkles Field-Packard Stadium at Brock Ballpark. The Sun Devils improve to 30-3, 8-3 in the Pac-10, on the season with the victory, which also gives ASU its 48th consecutive season and 50th overall with 30 or more wins. [Read more]
