Clarence Trent To Transfer From Washington

April 21, 2010

SEATTLE - Husky freshman Clarence Trent has decided to transfer from the University of Washington basketball program, head coach Lorenzo Romar announced on Wednesday. Trent played in 23 games as a freshman and averaged 1.8 points and 1.7 rebounds in 5.2 minutes per game.

Trent, from Tacoma, Wash., will not move too far away from the UW campus. He has elected to join Seattle University's program where he will play under former Husky assistant coach Cameron Dollar.

'He will be in a good situation for himself in that he will be with Cameron Dollar, who was on staff at Washington when Clarence signed with us,' said Romar. 'We'll still get to follow him and we wish him well.'

Trent is the second player to announce his intentions to transfer since the end of the season, joining Elston Turner.
