Butler, Te'o-Nesheim Go In Third Round Of NFL Draft

Former Huskies Donald Butler and Daniel Te'o-Nesheim were selected just seven picks apart in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft Friday. Butler was selected by San Diego with the 79th pick and Te'o-Nesheim went to the Eagles with the 86th.
Butler, a linebacker from Sacramento, totaled 94 tackles last season, earning second-team All-Pac-10 honors. During a four-year career, he compiled 239 total tackles, including 29.5 for a loss.
Te'o-Nesheim, a defensive end from Waikoloa, Hawai'i, who could play outside linebacker in the NFL, started every game (49 in all) over the last four seasons after redshirting his first season. He finished as the UW's all-time sacks leader with 30 and was a two-time second-team All-Pac-10 selection.
