Joanne Lee Named Second Team All-Pac-10

Sophomore Joanne Lee was named Second Team All-Pac-10 in post-season honors released by the Pacific Ten Conference. Junior Pia Halbig was named an honorable mention.

Joanne Lee was Cal's top finisher in six tournaments this season, including leading the Bears at the Pac-10 Championships, finishing among the top ten among individuals. Lee tied for medalist honors at the Peg Barnard Invitational at Stanford in February. Lee was ranked as high as No. 22 in the Golfweek Individual Rankings this season.

This is the first All-Conference honor for Lee. She was an honorable mention her freshman season when she was a member of the USC Trojans.

It is the 15th time a Cal Bear has earned first or second team All-Pac-10 honors.

Junior Pia Halbig, who was a First Team All-Pac-10 selection as a sophomore, earned an honorable mention this season.

The Bears will find out on Monday, April 26 their postseason fates when the NCAA Regional selections are announced. Check for information after the announcement.
