No. 50 Arizona Wins 3 of 6 in Day 2 of Pac-10s

OJAI, Calif.--No 50 Arizona took three of six wins in the second day of play at the 2010 Pac-10 Conference Championships Friday, in Ojai, Calif.

In the doubles main draw, senior Claire Reitsch and sophomore Natasha Marks took a win over Stanford's Mallory Burdette and Stacey Tan 8-4 in the round of 16. In the quarterfinal round, the Wildcat duo fell to Washington's pair of Vinise Chan and Lina Xu 8-6.

In the invitational draw, sophomore Debora Castany and junior Jane Huh took a first round bye before falling to California's duo of Stephany Chang and Nelly Radeva 8-4 in the quarterfinal round.

Sophomore Sarah Landsman and senior Natalia Toporowska defeated Washington State's Ksenia Googe and Andjela Kankaras 8-2 in the round of 16, and then fell to Arizona State tandem of Ashlee Brown and Sianna Simmons 8-2.

Freshman Elizabeth Hammond and sophomore Shannon Cassidy went up against USC's Cristalia Andrews and Valeria Pulido. The duo from USC topped the Wildcat pair 8-1.
