Hirshman And Kehrer Claim Invitational Doubles Crown At Pac-10's

OJAI, Calif.- Stanford wrapped up competition at the Pac-10 Championships on Sunday afternoon, highlighted by a doubles crown in the tournament's Invitational division.
The duo of Greg Hirshman and Walker Kehrer captured the title with an 8-4 victory over Washington's Tobi Obenaus and Alex Rosinski. Hirshman and Kehrer entered the weekend with a 1-1 record, playing together in two dual matches. After an opening-round bye, the duo won three matches to claim the Invitational title.
Also in action on Sunday was Bradley Klahn, defending his 2009 singles title. However, he suffered a 6-2, 7-6 (5) loss to USC's Robert Farah in the championship match. Klahn and Farah have now squared off four times this year, with Farah owning a 3-1 edge. Three of the four contests were decided in three sets.
Stanford is idle for the next two weeks, awaiting the start of NCAA Tournament play on May 14-16.
