Chad Arnold Named Top Performer

PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State redshirt-junior right-hander Chad Arnold has been named a Primetime Performer of the Week by for his effort against then-No. 22 Oregon State, April 23.

A native of Kennewick, Wash., Arnold dominated the Beavers with a complete game five-hitter in a 5-1 Cougar victory. He struck our a career-high 11 and threw 79 of 125 pitches for strikes.

Arnold fanned at least one hitter in eight of nine frames and did not allow a runner past first base after the fifth inning.

He was named Pacific-10 Conference Pitcher of the Week, Monday.
