Men's Golf Signs Huser to NLI

CORVALLIS - Connor Huser, an all-area golfer from California has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Oregon State men's golf program in the fall, head coach Brian Watts announced Friday.

'I'm really excited about Connor joining our program,' head coach Brian Watts said. 'He doesn't have a ton of tournament experience, but his demeanor on the course and his ball striking ability are excellent. He is a quality young man and he's really excited about joining Beaver Nation and our golf program. I expect him to be a solid collegiate golfer.'

Coming from Bakersfield High School, Huser is a three-time all-area golfer. As a junior, Huser, who has been his high school class president since his sophomore year, led the Southeast Yosemite League with a 73.6 stroke average.

The No. 23 Oregon State men's golf team is currently preparing for the NCAA Regional Championship which will be announced Mon., May 10.
