UW Women's Golf Season Comes To An End

GREENVILLE, N.C. -- The Husky women's golf team's season ended at the NCAA East Regional on Saturday when the team finished outside of the top-eight. Washington ended up 43 strokes over par (907) for the tournament and placed 17th out of 24 teams.

South Carolina won the region being hosted by East Carolina University at Ironwood Golf Course by two strokes over Tennessee. Katie Burnett from the winning team also took home individual medalist honors after shooting a 6-under-par 210.

Molly Aronsson was the Huskies top finisher at the tournament at 9-over par 225. Washington's lone senior competing this weekend tied for 59th in her final collegiate tournament.
