LOS ANGELES - The No. 23 Arizona State women's tennis team advanced on to the second round of the NCAA Championship as they defeated No. 38 Saint Mary's 4-1 in the first round. BERKELEY - The No. 12-ranked California women's tennis team (19-5, 5-2 Pac-10) advanced to the second round of the 2010 NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Championship with a 4-0 win over Southwestern Athletic Conference champion Southern (12-6, 8-0 SWAC) at the Hellman Tennis Complex on Friday, May 14. LOS ANGELES - Seventh-seeded UCLA made quick work of Army in the first round of the NCAA Women's Tennis Championships on Friday, posting a 4-0 victory over the Black Knights at the Los Angeles Tennis Center. BERKELEY, CALIF. - The No. 20 USC women's tennis team earned a 4-0 victory as it defeated No. 55 Sacramento State in the first round of the 2010 NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Championship at the Hellman Tennis Complex in Berkeley, Calif., today. The Trojans sealed the win by earning points from the bottom three courts in the lineup, and improved their overall record to 14-9 as they now prepare to fact host California tomorrow in the Second Round. [Read more]
