No. 12 Golden Bears Punch Ticket to NCAA Round of 16
BERKELEY, Calif. - California women's tennis freshman Tayler Davis completed her three-set victory over USC's Cristala Andrews at the sixth singles court to send the No. 12-ranked Golden Bears (20-5, 5-2 Pac-10) to the NCAA round of 16 for the fourth consecutive year. Cal defeated No. 20 USC (14-10, 5-3 Pac-10) by a 4-1 count in the second round of the 2010 NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Championships at the Hellman Tennis Complex on Saturday, May 15, to post its fourth straight 20-win season. Bruins Advance to NCAA Round of 16 
LOS ANGELES - The No. 9 UCLA women's tennis team will face No. 10 Duke in next week's NCAA Round of 16, as the Bruins advanced through regional play on Saturday with a 4-0 victory over 23rd-ranked Arizona State at the Los Angeles Tennis Center. UW Fights Gamely But Falls At No. 3 Florida In Second Round

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The Husky women's tennis team put forth a valiant effort in singles against one of the nation's top teams today but it wasn't enough to extend their season as 3rd-ranked Florida earned a 4-0 win at its own Linder Stadium in the second round of the NCAA Championships. The Gators (26-2) have won 82 matches in a row at home and will continue on to the Round of 16 while Washington's season ends at 12-7. [Read more]

Lead Slips Away As Huskies Fall In NCAA Opener
WACO, Texas - One year after staging a huge comeback win in the opening round of the NCAA Championships, the Husky men's tennis team had to deal with a reversal of fortunes as they let a 3-1 lead slip away to 33rd-ranked Rice in the first round of NCAA Regionals hosted by Baylor. No. 25 Washington (17-6) had two tiebreakers in singles that could have clinched the win, but Rice hung on for the 4-3 victory, ending UW's season sooner than planned. [Read more]

Bears Eat Up Anteaters to Advance to NCAA Second Round
LOS ANGELES - The No. 17-ranked California men's tennis team (13-7, 3-3 Pac-10) posted a 4-0 victory over Big West tournament champion No. 57 UC Irvine (17-12, 3-2 Big West) in the first round of the 2010 NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Championships at the Los Angeles Tennis Center on the campus of host UCLA, on Saturday, May 15.
