OOLTEWAH, Tenn. -- The Washington men's golf team once again saved their best for the last round and finished fourth in the stroke-play portion of the NCAA Championships on Thursday to be one of eight teams to advance to match play on Friday.

The Huskies will face a familiar foe in the NCAA Quarterfinals -- the Oregon Ducks, who entered the tournament ranked as the No. 1 team.

Washington shot a combined 5-under par 283 at The Honors Course and finished 4-under 860 overall. Pac-10 Co-Freshman of the Year Chris Williams led the charge for the Dawgs, shooting a 3-under 69 and is tied for ninth. Several golfers remain on the course as darkness fell that could affect the final standings.

We'll have more from Tennessee in a bit!
