Beavers On The Road - Day 5

June 6, 2010

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Cue the big game music. It's Sunday, and it's a big day for the Oregon State baseball team, to say the least.

The Beavers must win two to advance to the title game, which would now be Monday for Oregon State. If this postseason feels familiar to last year's to you, well, you're not the only one. Last year, the Beavers held on to defeat Texas A&M in the opening game. This year, it was Florida Atlantic. Then, last year, the Beavers lost by a large margin to TCU; this year, that was Florida.

Where will Oregon State go this year? Follow along today and find out.

We're going to keep the blog short today since we'll have a long day at the ballpark. I'd expect a few weather related delays as there are thunderstorms in the area (gee, what's new?). Tyler Waldron is getting the start in the game against Florida Atlantic, which starts at 10 a.m. PT.

Check our Twitter page at Remember, we can't update it as much as usual but we'll get the high points in. Maybe talk a bit about some gators, lakes and Osprey if the situations arise (if we get that hour-long rain delay again, it's a good bet it will).

Go Beavs!
