June 13, 2010
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. -- Louise Friberg shot a bogey-free 7-under-par 65 in Sunday's final round of the LPGA State Farm Classic before a lightning storm halted play with most leaders still on the course.
Players will return to Panther Creek Country Club at 7:30 a.m. CT on Monday to complete their rounds. Friberg and fellow Husky Paige Mackenzie were each able to wrap up their final 18 before the storm rolled over the course.
Friberg hit three birdies on the front nine and four on the back nine to get to 8-under 280 overall for the tourney. She is tied for 41st overall, but will have to wait until Monday to discover her final place in the standings.
Mackenzie shot a 4-under 68 on Sunday and is currently in 53rd at 6-under 282 overall. She finished her round with three consecutive birdies on holes 16-18.
