Former, Current & Future Bruins Set To Compete At USATF Championships

Former, current and future Bruins will travel to Des Moines, IA and Drake University to compete at the 2010 USATF Junior/Senior National Championships the 23rd through the 27th.

Current Bruins competing include Cory Primm (800m), Marco Anzures(10,000m), Matt Kosecki (junior discus), Tori Pena (pole vault), Katy Viuf(pole vault), Danielle Watson (long jump) and Ryann Krais (heptathlon).Bruin alums competing include Sheena Tosta (100m hurdles/400m hurdles),Nicole Leach (400m hurdle), Chelsea Johnson (pole vault) and JessicaCosby (hammer). There is no Team USA qualifications during the meet because there are no senior world championships this summer.

In the junior meet, Paiseley Pettaway (800m), DerekEager (javelin/discus) and Alec Faldermeyer (hammer) will be competingfor a spot on Team USA for the World Junior Championships, held July19-25 in Moncton, Canada. Faldermeyer just won the Nike Outdoor National crown in the hammer with the No. 7 all-time mark in the U.S. (240-8)

The meet will be televised on various channels during the competition. Below is a list of times and stations to find the track and field action.
