UCLA To Face TCU Monday Evening In College World Series

Omaha, Neb. - The UCLA baseball team (49-14) will face TCU (52-12) on Monday evening in the College World Series winner's bracket. Game time at Rosenblatt Stadium is 8 p.m. (CT)/6 p.m. (PT).

Fans can watch live on ESPN2, with Mike Patrick and former Los Angeles Dodger Orel Hershiser calling the game. This is UCLA's first meeting ever against TCU. The Bruins advanced to the winner's bracket with an 11-3 win over Florida in the team's first game of the College World Series. TCU defeated Florida State 8-1 in its first game.

Serving as the designated home team, UCLA will send sophomore right-hander Gerrit Cole (10-3, 3.25 ERA) to the mound. TCU will pitch sophomore right-hander Kyle Winkler (12-1, 2.84 ERA).

The winner of this game will be off until Friday, while the non-winning team will drop to the loser's bracket and face either Florida or Florida State.
