This Week in Pac-10 Women's Soccer

Weekly Release (PDF)

Pac-10 women's soccer season looks to get into full swing this weekend, as ARIZONA, the last Pac-10 team to start the season, will take to the field at the University of San Diego Tournament in San Diego. Pac-10 teams will be playing all around the country, from Massachusetts to Texas.

The Conference holds down the No. 2 and No. 3 spots on the NSCAA poll and the big game of the weekend will be on Friday, Aug. 27, 3:00 p.m. PT when No. 2 Stanford visits No. 1 North Carolina. This game will be a rematch of the 2009 NCAA College Cup finals, where North Carolina spoiled Stanford's perfect season to take the crown. The Cardinal will be out for revenge in this game, a big early season test for the squad.
