The Pac-10 kicks off the 2010 season with all six teams playing around the country, from Vermont to California. The Conference has two teams in the NSCAA Preseason Poll, with UCLA holding the No. 5 spot and STANFORD at No. 13. The opening weekend of play features several opponents who are ranked in the NSCAA poll or played in the 2009 NCAA Tournament. Both CALIFORNIA and UCLA will meet No. 20 Indiana in the adidas/IU Credit Union Classic while Stanford battles No. 10 Harvard in its second game of the week.
