Cabrera's Career Day Propels Beavers to a 3-2 Win over Weber State
OGDEN, Utah. - Sophomore Milan Cabrera recorded her first two career goals Friday as she helped propel the 25th ranked Oregon State women's soccer team to a 3-2 victory over Weber State at Wildcat Soccer Field in Ogden, Utah.
Pepperdine Upsets Ninth-Ranked Bruins, 1-0
LOS ANGELES - The No. 9 UCLA women's soccer team surrendered an early goal and was never able to answer, as Pepperdine pulled off a 1-0 upset over the Bruins at Drake Stadium on Friday evening. With the win, the Waves (7-3-2) snap the nation's longest home unbeaten streak at 73 matches. The Bruins (7-3-1) had not lost a game at home since falling to Penn State, 2-1 in double-overtime on Sept. 5, 2005.
No. 16 USC Edged 1-0 At San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CALIF. - The No. 16 USC women's soccer team came up empty on its trip to San Diego, taking the Trojans' second 1-0 loss of the season to the Toreros. A first-half goal by USD would stand up through the full 90, leaving USC with its first loss in 10 games. USC is now 7-2-2 overall, and USD goes to 6-4-2.

PULLMAN, Wash. - Freshman Eileen Maes recorded a hat trick in the second half and Washington State defeated Gonzaga 4-0 in women's soccer at Lower Soccer Field, Friday.

No. 20 UCLA Shuts Out No. 14 Washington, 1-0
The 20th-ranked UCLA men's soccer team used an early goal by Joe Sofia to record a 1-0 win over 14th-ranked Washington in the Pac-10 opener for both teams. Sofia scored at 8:59 on a header off a Kelyn Rowe corner kick. The goal was his first of the season.
Wildcats Sweep Past Sun Devils in Straight Sets
TUCSON, Ariz. - Senior Paige Weber recorded 38 assists and Courtney Karst added a season-high 12 kills as the Arizona Volleyball program swept Arizona State 3-0 Friday evening before 2,234 fans at McKale Center. Set scores were: 26-24, 25-19 and 25-12.
No. 8 Bears Drown No. 11 Ducks for 13th Straight
BERKELEY - The No. 8-ranked California volleyball team (13-0, 3-0 Pac-10) tied the second-longest winning streak in school history with a 3-0 sweep (25-16, 25-14, 25-16) of No. 11 Oregon (14-1, 2-1 Pac-10) at Haas Pavilion on Friday, Oct. 1. The Golden Bears have won nine straight sets and are one of two remaining undefeated teams in the country along with top-ranked Stanford.
Career-Hitting Night by Todorovic Sparks Bruins to Sweep

STANFORD, Calif. - The No. 1 Stanford women's volleyball team downed visiting Oregon State, 25-14, 25-17, 25-19, Friday in front of a crowd of 2,447 at Maple Pavilion. The Cardinal improves to 12-0 on the season and 3-0 in the Pac-10, while the Beavers fall to 8-9 on the year and 1-2 in the conference.
Huskies Topple No. 5 Trojans In Five-Set Thriller
SEATTLE - For Husky fans hankering for some live volleyball over the past month, Friday night packed all the emotions they were missing into one thrilling Washington victory. The 10th-ranked Huskies (13-1, 2-1 Pac-10) handed fifth-ranked USC (12-1, 1-1 Pac-10) its first loss of the year, outlasting the Trojans in front of 3,611 fans at Hec Edmundson Pavilion. After letting a two-set lead slip away, the Dawgs came back to fire away in the fifth, and secured the 25-22, 25-22, 15-25, 18-25, 15-5 victory.
