No. 12 Cal Takes Pac-10 Lead With 1-0 Win at UCLA
LOS ANGELES - Davis Paul scored a golden goal in the 99th minute to give No. 12 California a 1-0 overtime victory over No. 11 UCLA on a cloudy Sunday afternoon at Drake Stadium. The Golden Bears took possession of the Pac-10 Conference lead back from the Bruins by improving their Pac-10 record to 5-1-1. Cal improved its overall record to 9-2-3, while the Bruins fell to 10-4-1 (5-2-0 Pac-10).

SDSU Men's Soccer Shuts Out Stanford, 1-0

True freshman Miles Byass (Highland, Calif.) scored his first career goal and redshirt senior Brad Byrns (Alamo, Calif.) earned his fifth shutout of the season to lead the San Diego State men's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Stanford Sunday at SDSU SportsDeck. The Aztecs (8-5-2, 2-4-1 Pac-10) won their eighth game of the season, their most victories since 2007, when they finished 8-7-4.
