Second Half Of Pac-10 Gets Underway With Cal Leading The Way
The second half of Pac-10 play begins this weekend with teams still battling for the Conference crown. After taking sole possession of the top spot in the Pac-10 standings, CALIFORNIA will be chased by the rest of the Conference as eight teams are still within reach of the regular-season title and within four games of first place. Earning their highest-ever national ranking, the third-ranked Golden Bears will be tested at No. 18 OREGON and OREGON STATE this weekend. Seventh-ranked WASHINGTON and eighth-ranked USC battle on FSN. The match will be televised on a tape delayed basis, check local listings. Seven Pac-10 teams are ranked this week in the AVCA Coaches Poll. Behind the Golden Bears are No. 4 STANFORD, the No. 7 Huskies, No. 8 Trojans, No. 11 UCLA, No. 18 OREGON and No. 23 ARIZONA.
