Kristin Klein was the first Stanford player to be named a four-time AVCA All-American, nabbing first-team honors three times ... led Stanford to the Pac-10 title and a fifth-place national finish as a senior in 1991 and was named the Volleyball Magazine National Player of the Year ... a four-time All- Pac-10 pick and the 1991 Pac-10 Player of the Year ... also the 1988 Pac-10 Freshman of the Year ... remains second all-time at Stanford in career digs (1,456) and third in career kills (1,909) ... went on to play five years on the United States National Team and compete in the 1996 Olympic Games.
