BERKELEY - Hector Jimenez sent No. 10 California away happy with a golden goal in the 109th minute to beat Washington, 2-1, in double overtime on a Halloween Sunday at Edwards Stadium. The Pac-10 leading Golden Bears' record improved to 11-2-3 (7-1-1 in the Pac-10). Washington fell to 9-5-1 (3-4-0 Pac-10).

Stanford Downs Oregon State On Senior Day
Stanford, Calif. - Stanford celebrated senior day with a 3-0 win over Oregon State on beautiful, sunny afternoon at Cagan Stadium. Head coach Bret Simon started all seven seniors and it paid immediate dividends with two early goals.


No. 4 Stanford Sweeps Oregon State

CORVALLIS, Ore. - The No. 4 Stanford women's volleyball team defeated Oregon State 3-0, Sunday, at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis, Ore. Set scores were 25-17, 25-21, 25-20 as the Cardinal pushes its record to 18-2 overall and 9-2 in the Pac-10, while the Beavers fall to 8-17 on the year and 1-10 in the conference.

Volleyball Swept at No. 11 UCLA

LOS ANGELES -- Rachel Kidder's 14 kills led the No. 11 UCLA volleyball team to a 25-10, 25-12, and 25-14, win over Washington State Sunday afternoon in Pauley Pavilion.

Alexis Pinson Lights Up The Boards as ASU Sweeps UC Riverside

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - With Sarah Reaves and Alexis Pinson combining for 24 kills and Sarah Johnson pulling in 22 digs, the Sun Devil Volleyball team came out firing on all cylinders to sweep UC Riverside 25-16, 25-21 and 25-19 Sunday afternoon. The win pushes ASU to 10-13 with UCR falling to 2-23 on the season with Pac-10 play continuing full swing next weekend.

USC Shuts Out Washington 2-0

LOS ANGELES, CALIF. -- The USC women's soccer team rounded out an important winning weekend at home by capping off a 2-0 win over visiting Washington on Sunday afternoon at McAlister Field. The Trojans' final regular-season home game put their seniors on center stage, senior defender Karter Haug delivering assists on both USC goals in the match. The shutout win improves USC's overall record to 11-4-3 and takes the Trojans to a 4-2-1 Pac-10 mark. Washington goes to 11-7-1, 4-4.

Barnes Nets Game Winner Over Washington State on Senior Day

LOS ANGELES - Playing in her final regular season home match on Sunday, defender Lauren Barnes made her Senior Day one to remember, scoring the game-winning goal in a 2-0 victory over Washington State at Drake Stadium. With the win, the Bruins improve to 10-7-1 overall and 3-4 in Pac-10 play. The Cougars fall to 6-13 and 1-7 in league action.

UO Cruises to Third Straight Win

EUGENE, Ore. -- The University of Oregon soccer team rolled to a 2-0 win over Arizona State Sunday afternoon in the final 2010 regular-season home match for the Ducks. It was the third straight win for UO, which improved to 7-8-3 overall and 3-3-1 in Pac-10 Conference action.

Wetzel Has Career Day for Senior Day Win

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Senior Courtney Wetzel had a career day as the No. 15 Oregon State women's soccer team shutout Arizona 3-0 Sunday afternoon on Senior Day. Wetzel tied her career best for points in a game with a goal and two assists in front of friends and family in her last game at Paul Lorenz Field.
