Seven Pac-10 teams, the most since last year's eight selections are set to compete in the 2010 NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament. No. 1 STANFORD earned the top seed, and will begin its 2010 campaign at home against Sacramento State on Friday, November 12. The Cardinal is looking to advance to its third-straight NCAA College Cup. UCLA is set for postseason play as well, hosting BYU on Thursday, November 11 and will look to keep its streak of seven-straight NCAA College Cups in tact. USC, the only Pac-10 squad to ever win an NCAA title, will look to make a repeat run as they face Illinois in South Bend, Ind. on Friday. OREGON STATE, a Cinderella story in the 2009 season, is looking to further its round of 16 run from a year ago, as the Beavers face off against Memphis in Oklahoma City, Okla., on Friday. CALIFORNIA will face Duke in Gainesville, Fla. on Friday, WASHINGTON will battle Oklahoma in Portland, Ore., and ARIZONA STATE rounds things out with a tilt with UC Irvine on Friday on the road. All-Conference selections were also announced this week, with Stanford senior forward Christen Press being named Player of the Year and her coach, Paul Ratcliffe named Coach of the Year for the third-straight season. Oregon State forward Jenna Richardson earned Freshman of the Year honors.
