KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Pat Summitt was looking for a better defensive effort from fourth-ranked Tennessee. When she wasn't getting it early against Arizona State, she benched her best defensive player, Glory Johnson, for a few minutes. Johnson returned to the game and affected it by turning up the pressure, grabbing 15 rebounds and scoring 14 points inside as the Lady Volunteers beat Arizona State 80-64 on Sunday.

Slow Start Stops Beavers at Hawai'i; Claim Jack in the Box Rainbow Wahine Classic Title

Honolulu, Hawai'i - Despite outscoring Hawai'i (2-1) in the second half, the Oregon State women's basketball team (3-1) couldn't overcome an 11-point first half deficit as the Beavers had to count their first loss of the season in a 54-49 decision.

No. 15 UCLA Cruises Past UC Davis, 65-49
LOS ANGELES (AP) - Coming off a huge road win, UCLA wasn't about to let up back at home. Darxia Morris had 14 points, seven assists and five steals while Jasmine Dixon added 13 points to help No. 15 UCLA to its best start in 14 years with a 65-49 victory over UC Davis on Sunday.

USC Women Fire Up For 82-60 Win Over Long Beach State
LOS ANGELES, CALIF. - The USC women's basketball team put together a well-balanced attack against visiting Long Beach State and tacked up an 82-60 win over the 49ers behind four players in double digits. With Cassie Harberts and Jacki Gemelos in the lead with 14 points apiece, USC improved to 2-1 overall with the win, while Long Beach State goes to 0-4 despite a 30-point outing from Brandi Henton.
