WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- STANFORD senior outside hitter Alix Klineman has been named the Pac-10 Conference Volleyball Player of the Year, USC outside hitter Falyn Fonoimoana has been honored as the Pac-10 Conference Freshman of the Year, and CALIFORNIA's Rich Feller was voted Pac-10 Conference Volleyball Coach of the Year, Commissioner Larry Scott announced Tuesday.

An outside hitter from Manhattan Beach, Calif., Klineman becomes the 11th Stanford player all-time to earn Pac-10 Player of the Year honors. The 17th player in the history of the Conference to be named All-Pac-10 four times, she led the Cardinal to a share of the Pac-10 crown, Stanford's fifth-straight title and 14th overall. Klineman is the ninth player in Pac-10 history and the fourth in school history with 1,900 kills, a feat she achieved earlier this month. She also registered her 1,000th-career dig in October. Klineman leads the Pac-10 in kills (5.49) and points per set (6.18), also ranking second in the nation in both categories. Her .368 hitting percentage ranks fifth in the league. Ranked second in the nation heading into the NCAA Tournament, the Cardinal posted a 15-3 Pac-10 record and are 24-3 overall, also garnering the third-overall seed in the NCAA Tournament.

An outside hitter from Hermosa Beach, Calif., Fonoimoana is the fifth Trojan all-time to earn Pac-10 Freshman of the Year honors and first since 2006. Helping USC to its 28th NCAA Tournament appearance, she arrived in Los Angeles as the No. 1 recruit in the nation and earned a starting spot. She has posted three double-doubles this season, and has had 16 matches with double-digit kills. Fonoimoana averages 3.28 kills per set with a .253 hitting percentage. Defensively, she averages 0.45 blocks and 1.50 digs per set.

Rich Feller was voted Pac-10 Coach of the Year after leading California to a share of the Pac-10 title, the program's first-ever. Ranked in the top five in the nation for most of the season, the Golden Bears boast a 15-3 Pac-10 mark, the most league wins in school history, and a 25-3 overall mark, the fifth-consecutive season Cal has posted 20 or more victories. The seventh overall seed, Feller has led the Golden Bears to their 14th NCAA Tournament appearance and school-record ninth straight. Feller wins the award for the second time in his career, also garnering the honor in 2003. He boasts a 237-129 (.648) record in 12 seasons on the Cal bench, and a 26-year career record of 536-296 (.644).
