Cardinal Splits on Day One of Stanford Nike Invitational
STANFORD, Calif. - The No. 16/17 Stanford softball team dropped a 2-1 decision to Memphis before run-ruling North Dakota State, 12-0 in five innings, Friday, in the Stanford Nike Invitational at Smith Family Stadium. The Cardinal now stands at 9-3 overall.

Softball Falls in Heartbreaker to No. 1/3 Georgia
PALM SPRINGS, Calif. - The Oregon State softball team dropped a heartbreaker to No. 1/3 Georgia Friday afternoon by a final score of 12-7. The contest that lasted nearly three hours was an up and down, back and forth affair at the Cathedral City Classic.

CATHEDRAL CITY, Calif. - Behind a gutty performance by senior Donna Kerr, who struck out seven in five shutout innings, the second-ranked Bruins knocked off #6 Oklahoma 3-0 in their second game on Friday at the Cathedral City Classic. UCLA dropped its first contest of the day to #4 Florida 4-1.

Donnenwirth and Escobedo Lead No. 8 Softball Over Michigan State
TEMPE, Ariz. - Fueled by Dallas Escobedo's nine strikeouts and Krista Donnewirth's two-for-three and brilliant field play led the No. 8 ASU Softball Team to a 6-2 win over the Michigan State Spartans Friday night in Tempe.

No. 7/9 Huskies Improve To 12-0
CATHEDRAL CITY, Calif. - The Husky offensive was on display once again as the No. 7/9 UW softball team picked up two wins on day two of the Cathedral City Classic. Washington defeated Cal State Fullerton 14-2 in five innings in the first game and then UMass, 9-2 in game two. The Huskies improved to 12-0 on the year and 4-0 on the weekend.
