STANFORD JR SS Ashley Hansen sits atop the Conference standings and ranks in the top 10 nationally with an impressive .500 batting average. Hansen also ranks second in the nation in the toughest to strikeout category

The Sun Devils reclaimed the top spot in both national polls after a three game sweep of in-state rival Arizona on the road.

The Pac-10 has seven of eight teams ranked in both the NFCA and the USA Softball national rankings. ARIZONA STATE, ARIZONA, CALIFORNIA, WASHINGTON, STANFORD, UCLA and OREGON have been ranked nationally all season.

As a team, Arizona State is third in the nation with a .355 team batting average.

Arizona senior catcher Stacie Chambers is tied for eighth in the nation with 16 home runs. She also is ninth with 1.23 RBI per game average.

The Pac-10 celebrates 25 years of women's athletics, including 124 NCAA team titles. Softball has a lauded history of success which the Pac-10 carries with pride today.
