BERKELEY - After run-ruling the defending national champions Bruins on Saturday for UCLA's first mercy loss of the year, the No. 9/10 California softball team broke out the brooms with a 2-1 win over the No. 11/8 Bruins on Sunday afternoon, completing the series sweep.

Cardinal Captures Series Win Over Washington

STANFORD, Calif. - The 13th-ranked Stanford softball team captured the series win over 11th-ranked Washington with a 3-1 win, Sunday, at Smith Family Stadium. The Cardinal now stands at 35-11 overall and 8-7 in the Pac-10, while the Huskies fall to 32-10 on the season and 7-8 in the conference.

Arizona Hangs on to Down Ducks

No. 9 Arizona opened up a 5-0 lead through the first two innings and held on to defeat nineteenth-ranked Oregon, 7-6 in front of 2,273 at Hillenbrand Stadium.

No. 1 ASU Gets Second Straight Pac-10 Sweep

TEMPE, Ariz - Another dominating performance by Dallas Escobedo coupled with nine hits and seven runs from the offense made an indubitable setting for a win Sunday afternoon as the No. 1 ASU Softball team took a 7-1 win over Oregon State.
