Huskies Blanked By Missouri In Game One

COLUMBIA, Mo. - After three days in Missouri the 12th-seeded Huskies were anxious to play their first Super Regional game against the fifth-seeded Tigers. It was a close and well-played game but Missouri came out on top, 4-0, taking game one of the best of three series. The Huskies fall to 37-15 on the year and Missouri improves to 51-8.

UA Suffers Season-Ending Loss to OU

Mike Candrea coached teams had made 21 straight Women's College World Series before Oklahoma came to town for this weekend's Super Regional. The Sooners needed just two games to keep Candrea from making his 22nd straight WCWS appearance and Arizona from making its 23rd appearance in the last 24 years. Oklahoma beat Arizona 5-2 on Saturday to finish off the Cats after beating them 6-0 on Friday.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The No. 11 University of Oregon softball team (42-16) capped its season Saturday with a 7-0 loss to No. 3 University of Florida (52-10) in the second and deciding game of the Super Regional at Pressly Stadium.

Cal Blanks Kentucky, 1-0, in Super Regional Game One

LEXINGTON, Ky. - With sophomore Jolene Henderson pitching a one-hitter in the circle, all the No. 7-seeded California softball team needed was a solo shot by Frani Echavarria to get a 1-0 victory over Kentucky on Saturday afternoon. The Golden Bears outhit the Wildcats, 6-1, en route to their Lexington Super Regional opening win.
