Three Pac-12 Teams In Preseason Rankings

WALNUT CREEK, Calif.—ARIZONA, CALIFORNIA and UCLA have been named to Blue Ribbon College Basketball Yearbook's preseason Top 25. The Wildcats pulled a No. 10 ranking, while Cal and UCLA sit at No. 21 and 23, respectively.

Arizona went 30-8 for the 2010-11 season and returns 11 letterwinners from the team that won the regular season Pac-10 title and reached the NCAA Elite Eight before falling to eventual NCAA champion Connecticut. Seniors Kyle Fogg and Jesse Perry are among the top returners for the Wildcats, in addition to the fourth-ranked incoming class.

The Golden Bears return All-Pac-10 seniors Jorge Gutierrez and Harper Kamp, and 2011 Pac-10 Freshman of the Year Allen Crabbe. Cal finished 18-15 and played through the second round of the NIT.

Reeves Nelson and Josh Smith return to the UCLA frontcourt, while twin transfers David and Travis Wear join the roster. The Bruins went 23-11 for the 2010-11 season, finishing second in the Pac-10 and playing through the third round of the 2011 NCAA tournament.

The first game of the regular season tips off Sunday, Nov. 6 when UCLA faces Cal State San Bernardino.
