Dalley Awarded Bank of the West Honor
WALNUT CREEK, Calif. — UTAH forward Erin Dalley has been named Bank of the West Pac-12 Women's Soccer Player of the Week for Sept. 26-Oct. 3, Commissioner Larry Scott announced Tuesday.
The senior scored in back-to-back games in Utah's weekend sweep over Arizona State and Arizona. On Friday, Dalley scored the equalizer in what ended up being a 2-1 victory over the Sun Devils. On Sunday, the Centerville, Utah, native scored the game-winning goal and assisted on the insurance goal in Utah's 3-1 win over the Wildcats.
Dalley is the team leader in points (10), goals (4), game-winning goals (2), shots (26) and shots on goal (13). She is also tied for second in assists (2) and has scored in three of Utah's last four games.
This is Dalley's first Pac-12 Player of the Week honor and the first all-time selection for Pac-12 newcomer Utah.
The Utes head to the Pacific Northwest this weekend, facing Washington State on Friday at 3 p.m. PT and Washington on Sunday at 12 p.m. PT.
