Nine Named to All-Region Teams

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Nine Pac-12 men's soccer players were named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Far West Region teams, the NSCAA announced Friday. Four players were named to the first team, three were second team selections and two made the third team. UCLA led the way with five honorees, WASHINGTON had two and SAN DIEGO STATE and STANFORD had one apiece.

Junior forward Chandler Hoffman and redshirt senior goalkeeper Brian Rowe were the two Bruins on the first team and were joined by San Diego State senior defender Daniel Steres and Washington senior forward Brent Richards.

Husky senior defender Jamie Finch was named to the second team along with UCLA senior midfielder/defender Andy Rose and sophomore midfielder Kelyn Rowe.

Stanford junior forward Adam Jahn and UCLA junior defender Matt Wiet represented the Pac-12 on the third team.

Kelyn Rowe, Richards and Wiet are repeat All-Region selections.
