Colorado 73, Utah 33
BOULDER - Don't take Colorado's 40-point win on Saturday in its Pac-12 Conference men's basketball debut as an indicator of things to come. If you're into indicators, as is Buffaloes coach Tad Boyle, you'll join him in the Coors Events Center on Thursday night.

Washington State 81, Oregon State 76
SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - Brock Motum led Washington State with 26 points and eight rebounds Saturday in an 81-76 win over Oregon State.

Arizona 68, Arizona State 51
TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Arizona State (4-9) cut the lead to 13 twice but could get no closer. Rusian Pateev scored a career-high 12 for the Sun Devils in the loss to defending conference regular-season champion Arizona 68-51 in the teams' Pac-12 opener on Saturday.

California 85, UCLA 69
BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) - Allen Crabbe scored 20 points, including four 3-pointers, and California beat UCLA 85-69 on Saturday to pull off its first home sweep of the Los Angeles schools in eight years and stay undefeated at home.

Washington 76, Oregon 60
SEATTLE - Selfless C.J. Wilcox showed how cool he was with not starting for the second consecutive game by coming off the bench to tie his career high with 24 points. That included the game-turning 3-pointers that repelled Oregon's final charge in a 76-60 victory Saturday night and sent Washington off to a 2-0 start in the Pac-12.

Wednesday, Dec. 28

Colorado 92, New Orleans 34
BOULDER, Colo. - Colorado men's basketball coach Tad Boyle got his wish - and maybe a bit more. Wanting his enigmatic team to play a full 40 minutes and finally put away a December opponent, Boyle witnessed a demolition job Wednesday night at the Coors Events Center.
