CORVALLIS, Ore.-- OREGON seniors Daniel Miernicki and Eugene Wong led the Ducks to the 54-hole lead at the Pac-12 Men's Golf Championship at Trysting Tree Golf Club in Corvallis, Ore., as the team posted a 16-under 344 in the third round, and are at 14-under (1066) for the Championship. The Ducks hold a four-stroke advantage over UCLA (10-under, 1070) and are six shots up on CALIFORNIA (8-under, 1072).

Playing together in the final group of the day, Oregon, UCLA and California each posted low rounds on the back nine to distance themselves from the rest of the field. The Ducks toured the back nine at 11-under, while the Bruins shot 5-under and the Bears were 7-under.

"We caught fire there around 11 through 15 and just had a whole slew of birdies and it was really fun to watch and the kids did great," said Oregon coach Casey Martin. "Andrew (Vijarro) got hot, Robbie (Ziegler) did some good things and then Jonathan Woo made some birdies coming in too which was just awesome."

"Having a few shot lead on UCLA isn't, well, I am not going to sleep great with that. They are so deep and so talented and we are going to have to play our best round of the tournament tomorrow to win this," added Martin.

Miernicki shot a 6-under 66 and is 10-under (68-72-66--206) for the Championship. He joins Wong, the second round leader, atop the leader board after Wong posted a 3-under 69 and is 10-under (69-68-69--206) after three rounds. STANFORD's Andrew Yun finished his round with five consecutive birdies and is in third at 9-under (68-70-69--207).

UCLA sophomore Patrick Cantlay is in fourth at 6-under (69-70-71--210) and junior teammate Pedro Figueiredo is fifth at 5-under (71-69-71--211).

Stanford freshman Patrick Rodgers finished with five birdies over the final 10 holes and shot the low round of the Championship with a third round score of 7-under 65. He moved up into a five-way tie for sixth at 4-under (73-74-65--212).

The Championship concludes with the final round on Sunday at 8 a.m.
