The broadcast continues

Friday's game is now into the second half. When the broadcast started, fans waved towels that read "First Live Event Broadcast," matching the logo painted at midfield. There is a sold-out crowd here at Cagan Stadium, with an awareness from the crowd that this is a historic televised event. The buzz is tangible.

The Stanford football and women's volleyball teams are in the crowd. And as we saw during the first half of the broadcast, Gold Medal winner Kelley O'Hara, a former Stanford soccer star, is also in the house.
