Five men's, four women's teams ranked

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - The Pac-12 is well-represented in both the men's and the women's sides of the most recent United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Coaches poll, with five men's teams and four women's teams claiming spots in the rankings. The Pac-12 is one of three conferences to have four men's teams represented, tying for the most in the country. The conference also has three women's teams ranked in the top five.

COLORADO led the Pac-12 in the men's poll for the fourth-straight week, ranking No. 7 in the country. STANFORD jumped a spot and trail the Buffs at No. 8. OREGON, which was ranked 23rd in last weeks poll, moved eight spots and landed at No.15. UCLA, which moved up three spots, is ranked No. 27.

On the women's side, ARIZONA elevated 10 spots to rank No. 2 after defeating then-No. 1 WASHINGTON (now No. 3) to earn the top spot at the Greater Louisville Classic. Right behind the Huskies, OREGON is ranked No. 4. STANFORD checked in at No. 7, while COLORADO ranked No. 18.

A light weekend of competition will commence with ARIZONA STATE competing at the Grand Canyon Invitational in Goodyear, Ariz.
