Final drive of Arizona's amazing comeback

Dec 16, 2012

Just a couple of minutes out, it seemed like Nevada had secured the victory in the Gildan New Mexico Bowl. But with just 1:48 left, the Wildcats managed to come back from a 13-point deficit thanks to an incredible sequence of plays. On the final drive, Arizona recovered an onside kick and, with just 40 seconds left and 51 yards to go, the Wildcats stunned the Wolf Pack in a victory for the ages:

Time of possession was in favor of Nevada 39:10 compared to 20:50 for Arizona but that didn't matter, as the Wildcats came away with the victory, 49-48.
