Hot start keys Huskies' 35th consecutive win over WSU

The Washington women came out scorching from three-point range Tuesday night, including making six of their first eight shots from deep, keying their 35th consecutive victory over rival Washington State. Talia Walton, a freshman from Federal Way, Wash.,  led the charge, making three of four threes in the first half, including this three-pointer with some feathery touch to get it to go down.

Due in large part to the streaky shooting from behind the arc, the Huskies jumped out to an early 20-point lead and held on to win, 60-53. The last time the Cougars beat the Huskies was all the way back in 1995.
