Pac-12 teams will debut on the ESPN Network this week as No. 9 CALIFORNIA at No. 19 UCLA on Thursday, April 11 will be shown on ESPN2 as well as the face off between No. 14 Washington and No. 2 Arizona State on Saturday, April 13. The Pac-12 Networks will show three softball games this week starting with the Golden Bears against the Bruins on Friday, April 12 then will have both No. 17 Arizona at No 7 Oregon and Utah at Oregon State on Sunday, April 14. The Pac-12 boasts seven of the nine schools in the NFCA poll being led by No. 2 Arizona State who holds that position for the fifth week in row.

Pac-12 Softball Facts

• SERIES VICTORY: The first-ever Pac-12 series victory for Utah came this weekend as they claimed two of three games in the upset over then-No. 15 UCLA. The Utes lost the first game 4-6 but came back to win back-to-back conference games for the first since becoming a member of the Pac-12. The Utes won the two games by scores of 7-4 and 8-3. 

• HITTING THE ROAD: The Wildcats will play 11 of its final 17 games on the road including a five game road trip this week. The team only has two home series remaining in the season.

• NEWCOMER POWER: Freshman Lauren Young led the Arizona offense in the first game against UC Santa Barbara last weekend with 7 RBI, the most by any Wildcat this season. Six of the seven RBI game from a pair of three-run home runs.

• LONG BALL: The Beavers tied a season high with three home runs against the Huskies in the 3-4 loss on April 7.

• KEEP THE STREAK ALIVE: WASHINGTON is currently on an eight game conference winning streak. It will be tested this week as they face No. 2 ARIZONA STATE in a three game series over April 12-14. The Huskies' longest conference winning streak last season was three games.

• SURPASSING 2012: UTAH has already surpassed the amount of conference games they won during the 2012 season. The Utes have claimed three victories so far with 12 conference games yet to be played. The Utes had a 2-22 conference record last season.

• END IT QUICKLY: The Sun Devils have 13 games that have ended in six innings or less. ARIZONA STATE is quick to put their opponents away with two of the short games coming during conference play.

• SLOW START: The Bruins are off to a rough start in Pac-12 play with a 3-9 record. UCLA has not had a start like this one since 1998 when they went 8-18 in Pac-10 play.
