Ten Pac-12 players earn NFCA All-America honors

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced the 2013 NFCA Division I All-America teams on Wednesday with 10 Pac-12 softball players honored. The Pac-12 came in second among all conferences with 10 selections, while the SEC led all conferences with 15 selections. OREGON led the Pac-12 with four honorees. ARIZONA STATE had three, while CALIFORNIA, WASHINGTON and UCLA each had one apiece.

The Pac-12 has two teams participating in the Women's College World Series, which begins Thursday, May 30 in Oklahoma City. Both teams had a member on the first team and ASU had two more individuals on the second team. The  fifth-seeded Sun Devils will face fourth-seeded Texas at 6 p.m. CT, while the 11th-seeded Huskies battle 13th-seeded Nebraska at 11 a.m. CT. All games of the WCWS will be televised on the ESPN family of networks.
