All-Star tour: Pac-12 squad's struggles continue

The Pac-12 volleyball all-star team -- comprised of 13 conference players and three coaches -- is on a two-week playing tour in China. The Pac-12 Post will have an inside look at the team's experience throughout the trip, including photos, guest posts from members of the team and recaps of each match.

Match 2 of the tour: 

The Pac-12 all-star team faced Jiangsu Thursday in a scrimmage in Huaian.  The local team prevailed in three sets, 28-26, 26-24, 25-17.

Utah's Shelby Dalton led the Pac-12 squad with 11 kills.

Match 3 of the tour: 

The Pac-12 all-star team's tough luck continued Friday as the team fell to Jiangsu, 13-25, 23-25, 25-15, 24-26.

Utah's Shelby Dalton broke into the starting lineup for the team and led the way with 18 kills. USC's libero Natalie Hagglund tallied 22 digs.

The team leaves Huaian Saturday for Beijing.
