Washington's Kim named Pac-12 women's golfer of the month for October

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - SooBin Kim of Washington was named the Pac-12 Women’s Golfer of the Month for October.

Kim, a sophomore from Donghae, South Korea, started the month of October with a 17th place finish at the Windy City Championship, shooting 6-over 222. Her efforts helped the Huskies finish 2nd in the tournament. Kim finished up the Fall by shooting 4-under 209 at the Stanford Intercollegiate to place second among individuals and assisted the Huskies to a second place finish.Overall, she had four rounds in the 60s during the month and moved up to second in both the Golfstat and Golfweek individual player rankings. After compiling a 58-2 overall head-to-head record against their competition, the Huskies ended the Fall ranked No. 1 by Golfweek and No. 2 by Golfstat.
