Harris, Geithman and Jennings Join the Pac-12 Staff

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - The Pac-12 Conference has named Sean Harris as Administrative Fellow and Sarah Jennings and Kyra Geithman as Communications Fellows for the 2013-14 year, Commissioner Larry Scott announced today. 

Harris, from Kent, Washington, is a former student–athlete and 2013 graduate of Washington State University. There, he earned a degree in sport management with an emphasis in business administration. While at Washington State, Harris worked closely with the Student Athlete Development department as assistant coordinator of student-athlete tutoring services while also serving as a tutor himself. In addition to working within athletics, Harris was also a student intern at the University Foundation department. His duties included contacting university donors, assisting in hosting Foundation sponsored events, and providing hospitality to all WSU guests during sporting events and orientations.

Jennings, a Spokane, Wash. native, is a 2010 graduate of the University of Washington with a degree in Communication. In June of 2013 she completed her Masters degree in Sports Administration at Seattle University. While pursuing the degree, Jennings served as a graduate assistant in Athletic Communications at Washington, handling media relations for the men’s and women’s crew programs. She also provided assistance with the media operations for the 2013 Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Tournament (Seattle, Wash) and event operations for the 2012 and 2013 Pac-12 Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships (Federal Way, Wash.). Jennings previously interned in the Marketing and Promotions department for the Seattle Mariners.   

From Boulder, Colo., Geithman is a 2013 graduate of Arizona State University with a degree in journalism and mass communications and a minor in design studies. Geithman worked for four years as a student assistant in the Arizona State sports information department, serving as primary contact for men’s and women’s swimming and diving and women’s tennis as well as assisting with all varsity sports for the Sun Devils. She also helped with the 2012 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament and the 2010 Pac-10 Basketball Tournament.
