Stanford Takes Third At NorCal

After dropping a tough overtime decision to No. 1 USC in the morning, fifth-ranked Stanford men’s water polo rebounded to defeat No. 3 California, 12-10, to take third place at the NorCal Invitational at Spieker Aquatics Complex in Berkeley.

No. 2 UCLA Beats No. 4 California, 6-5, Advances to NorCal Finals

BERKELEY, Calif. — The No. 2 UCLA men's water polo team improved to 10-0 on the season with a 6-5 win over No. 4 California (6-1) this afternoon in the semifinals of the NorCal Invitational. UCLA will face No. 1 USC in the title game tonight at 6:15 p.m. It marks the sixth-consecutive year that UCLA has reached the championship game of the NorCal Invitational.

No. 2 UCLA Wins NorCal Invitational with 9-8 Victory Over No. 1 USC

BERKELEY, Calif. — The No. 2 UCLA men's water polo team improved to 11-0 on the season with a 9-8 win over No. 1 USC (11-1) this evening to win the NorCal Invitational. The victory over the Trojans ended USC's 41-game winning streak, dating back to the 2011 season.
