Football Single-Game Tickets For Oregon State Available This Week
TEMPE, Ariz. – Single-game tickets for Arizona State University’s Pac-12 tilt against Oregon State on Nov. 16 at Sun Devil Stadium will go on sale this week.
Sun Devil Athletics is honoring active military and veterans as part of its annual Military Appreciation and Salute to Service game, and is also partnering with ASU University Sustainable Practices to host the inaugural "Zero Waste" football game, which aims to minimize our carbon footprint and encourage sustainable practices to a larger audience.
ASU students have the chance to choose the team’s uniform combination for the second consecutive year. The voting is open now, and runs through Nov. 8, and the link to vote can be found under the athletics tab on asu.edu or at thesundevils.com/studentvote.
“This is a great opportunity for Sun Devil Athletics to illustrate the importance of being the front porch for the university,” Vice President for University Athletics Steve Patterson said. “We are spreading awareness for two great causes – sustainability and gratitude for the armed forces that protect us everyday – while simultaneously rewarding ASU students, who have been our biggest advocates all season.”
As part of the special Salute to Service event, fans can purchase a ticket to donate to an active military member or veteran, and Sun Devil Athletics will match every donated ticket with a second ticket. All donated tickets will go to the Veteran Tickets Foundation, vettix.org. Please contact SDA sales consultants Aaron Mills at 480-727-3526/Aaron.J.Mills@asu.edu, or Jeremy Figueroa at 480-727-3525/Jeremy.Figueroa@asu.edu. Discounted tickets are also available through various military organizations.
Sun Devil Club members and subscribers of Devils’ Insider can purchase tickets starting today, and they will become available to followers of Sun Devil Athletics’ social media outlets on Wednesday before being offered to the general public on Thursday at 9 a.m.
Tickets can be purchased online 24 hours a day at sundeviltickets.com, via phone at (480) 965-5812 or at the Sun Devil Stadium Ticket Office, located on the south side of Sun Devil Stadium at 500 East Veterans Way in Tempe. Military Appreciation and Salute to Service
There are approximately 1,500 student veterans on ASU’s campus and the game will feature an ROTC march, halftime presentation, student veteran profiles and more.
ASU has a rich history of service to our country with more than 7,600 living degreed alumni with a military affiliation as well as 1,300 non-degree ASU Alumni Association members. The football program’s proud history of military service dates back to the initial years of the program's existence, starting in 1898 with three players that were members of the 1st United States Volunteer Cavalry in the Spanish-American War, otherwise known as Theodore Roosevelt's "Rough Riders".

Family and friends established the Pat Tillman Foundation following Pat’s death in 2004 while serving with the 75th Ranger Regiment in Afghanistan. Created to honor Pat’s legacy and pay tribute to his commitment to leadership and service, the Pat Tillman Foundation is a national leader in providing educational support and resources to veterans, active servicemembers and their spouses.
In 2008, the Pat Tillman Foundation established the Tillman Military Scholars program to support educational opportunities for servicemembers and military families by bridging the financial gaps left by the Post-9/11 G.I. Bill. To date, 290 Tillman Military Scholars representing 34 states and attending 92 academic institutions nationwide have been awarded over $4.1 million in scholarship support. Visit www.pattillmanfoundation.org or follow them on Twitter @pattillmanfnd for more information.
A crowd of approximately 50,000 fans produces about 25,000 pounds of trash per game, and the zero-waste model allows fans to either compost or recycle their “trash” at Sun Devil Stadium. All products sold or distributed at the game will fit in either the compost category (e.g., food, drinks, serviceware) or recycle category (e.g., cans and bottles). To achieve the zero-waste mark, better than 90 percent of the contents of the bins are filled with recyclable or compostable materials.
Students Uniform Vote
The Sun Devils’ student section, “The Inferno,” houses the most student season ticket holders in the Pac-12, and a record 14,118 student tickets were sold for the USC game, which marked the first time in school history more than 14,000 student tickets were sold for a single game.
Season ticket holders can currently purchase discounted single-game tickets at any time other than on the day of each game.
Tickets start as low as $25 or buy a Raising Cane’s Family Tailgate Pack, which includes four single-game tickets and four Raising Cane’s meal vouchers. Group rates for more than 15 people can also be purchased. The special $10 section is no longer available.
Be sure to arrive early each game for the second year of Devil Walk, which begins 3 hours 30 minutes before kickoff inside Wells Fargo Arena, and will once again feature the 2013 team, the highly acclaimed ASU Sun Devil Marching Band, the Spirit Squad, special videos and highlights, and more.
Students who are not season ticket holders will have the option to buy single-game tickets beginning the week before each home game. Click here to learn more about Sun Devil Student Season Tickets, which includes all home football and men’s basketball games, as well as other benefits.
